Interbloc precast concrete block, standard configuration

INTERBLOC®

At the heart of the Interbloc® system is the standard block, wet cast at 1,200 × 600 × 600mm, weighing one tonne, and incorporating a unique shear key, certified central lifting anchor, and reinforcing ducts at 600mm centres. Interbloc® is a range of 15 block configurations.

Gravity First

Interbloc® uses its weight and interlocking shear key to resist movement in both horizontal directions. Cast-in ducts allow vertical reinforcement where additional strength is required.

Engineered

Interbloc is an engineered system for storage bays, retaining walls and temporary works. Use Envirobuild® to plan your layout and calculate block quantities before construction.

Quality

Interbloc blocks are precision-cast using concrete supplied by AS 1379-compliant plants. Standard blocks measure 1200 × 600 × 600 mm for consistent, modular construction.

‘Birth’ certificates

Each block has a ‘birth’ certificate recording its production and quality information, giving you a traceable record of the product supplied.

Safe lifting

Each block incorporates a certified 2.5-tonne Swiftlift anchor for controlled lifting and placement with compatible lifting equipment, following the specified handling procedures.

Deconstruct, reuse

Interbloc structures can remain in place permanently or be dismantled and reconfigured as requirements change. Blocks can be reused without demolition, keeping materials in service across multiple projects.
